Pico Load Kit – DC Electronic Load
Pico Load is a convenient easy to solder constant current load also known as a DC Electronic Load. It is typically used for testing batteries and power supplies. The digital readout makes setup simple. Simply connect the power supply you wish to test to the banana jack terminals and turn the potentiometer until the display reads the desired current draw.
New Design
As of 9/23/2016 we have updated the bill of materials (BOM) to support 2 Amps.
Warning:
When in operation this device can exceed temperatures of 200°F (93°C) which can cause sever burns and even start fires. Make sure to mount your finished Pico Load to a stable non- flammable base. Use standoffs to prevent solder joints from shorting to a conductive base. Also, read the assembly manual. It contains additional warnings throughout.
